Birth name: Lars Petter Rishaug (Known as "Lasse" between friends)

Lars Petter started to play bass guitar early at the age of 15 yo. He played in a band called "New Generation" in the middle of the 1960`s. The band became very popular in the city Narvik and the area around. The band played Rock`n Roll music. After some years he played in a band called "April" that played a kind of hard rock style and they was well known in Narvik and other places in the North part of Norway.

Several years later, in the 90`s he played in the band "No Limit" and the sucsessfull rock band "Hard To handle" together  with the lead singer and acoustic guitar player Geir Hansen (Gary Nash). Then he started to play in a blues band called  "August R&B Band". Lars have during his musical career played several different music styles, from rock`n roll, hard rock, pop to blues. In 2007 he was headhunted to play bass guitar for the well known country artist B.Thomas, in his live band  "Redneck Cowboys".
 

The bass player in the band decided to quit, and B.Thomas had heard from the bandmate Gary Nash that Lars was a great bass player, and that he had the skills to play country music. B.Thomas and Gary Nash asked Lars to join the group, he started to play in the band right away ! He took the artistname Peter Groover (the name Peter comes of his middle name Petter). Peter Groover is at the present time the Bass guitarist in "Redneck Cowboys.
